Medaglia 1796 Voto della città di Arezzo alla Beata Vergine del Conforto e a San Donato - D/ Giro: “VEN. IN (a sx), CATHE. (al centro), ARET. (a dx). Nel campo: busto della Beata Vergine del Conforto, velata, di prospetto, entro un riquadro. Esergo: 1796 - R/ Giro: “S. DONATUS. P. ARETII.” San Donato, in abito episcopale, con un calice nella mano dx e un ramo di palma nella sx - Autore non indicato - Julius 528, De Felissent 191, Viscontea 758, Turricchia 48, manca in Hennin - AG (g 21,17 - 45 x 41 mm) Fusa. Appiccagnolo originale. In ricordo delle preghiere e del voto fatti pubblicamente dagli abitanti di Arezzo per arrestare l’invasione francese. Ex Nomisma 14.11.1998 n. 1661.
